David Jones
President and Chief Executive Officer
David Jones is the President and CEO of Njini, driving the development and implementation of the company's strategic goals and vision. In this role, David oversees every aspect of Njini's operations.

Over the last 20 years Mr. Jones has been instrumental in the early success of a number of prominent high technology startups which have culminated in successful outcomes within their market segments.  Prior to joining Njini in 2005, Njini, Mr. Jones was President & CEO of Network Physics, a leader in network application management.  After joining Network Physics, Mr. Jones redirected product development and restructured operations, resulting in a doubling of year-over-year revenues for 8 consecutive quarters. Previously, David served as a founder or senior executive at highly successful venture-backed companies, and in executive management positions at prominent companies in the storage, networking and enterprise software industries includig; Cisco Systems and Quantum Corporation. While at Cisco, David served as general manager of the communications software division, where he led the development, marketing and strategy efforts for the company's 400-person telecommunications software division. He drove development of the Internet OSS, network management, and policy networking initiatives. Prior to Cisco, David was vice president of marketing at Netsys, a company specializing in network management solutions for large enterprise customers. The company was acquired by Cisco in 1996.

Before joining Netsys, David served as President and CEO of Ambrent, a venture-funded startup providing a network appliance to address the problems inherent in delivering video and audio content over the Internet. During his tenure at Ambrent, he led the business and product definition, financing, and early customer and partner acquisition initiatives that resulted in engagements with leading international broadband access providers. David was also founding vice president of Collabra Software, a leading enterprise software vendor acquired by Netscape.

David holds a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from Stanford University.

Bruce Golden
General Partner
Bruce Golden has been focused on emerging markets and technologies since 1984, when he worked in the computer division at Lucasfilm. Bruce joined Accel in 1997 and specializes in enterprise and consumer software investments. Bruce currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at several private and public companies, including Amobee, comScore (SCOR), Double Fusion, Mind Candy, Qliktech, Responsys, Streambase and WeeWorld. Bruce was responsible for Accel's investment in Ajuba Solutions (acquired by Interwoven, Inc.), Exchange.com (acquired by Amazon.com), Itemfield, (acquired by Informatica), and SupportSoft (SPRT).

Prior to Accel, Bruce held executive marketing and sales positions at Illustra Information Technologies, a pioneer in the area of object-relational databases. In 1996 Illustra merged with Informix Software, where Bruce became General Manager of the Data Warehouse Business Development Unit. Prior to Illustra, Bruce spent almost eight years at Sun Microsystems in a variety of roles, including launching Sun's efforts into the financial services market, moving to Hong Kong to assist in opening and developing the Sun Asia subsidiary, and managing the market development organization upon his subsequent return to the US.

Bruce holds an MBA from Stanford and a BA from Columbia University. Bruce currently lives in London with his wife and two children.

Jim Martin
Managing Partner
Jim Martin co-founded Add Partners after an 18-year career at 3i plc, where he was most recently Director and Head of European Technology. Jim was an early pioneer of technology investing in Europe, and under his leadership 3i's European Technology business grew from 10% to 60% of the firm¹s overall business. When Jim left 3i in 1999 to found Add Partners, 3i¹s technology portfolio was valued at $1.6bn, invested in 500 companies. To date, some 300 of those companies have been successfully sold or listed.

Previously, Jim was Director and Head of 3i's Cambridge Technology Fund. He also founded the Quantum seed funds, and was formerly Chairman of the EVCA Technology Group.

Jim, a fully qualifed Chartered Accountant, is Scottish, and holds an AMP from INSEAD, and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde.
