David Jones
President and Chief Executive Officer
David Jones is the President and CEO of Njini, driving the development and implementation of the company's strategic goals and vision. In this role, David oversees every aspect of Njini's international operations.

David joined Njini in 2005 from Network Physics, an industry technology leader in network application management, where he was President and CEO.

Previously, David served as President and CEO of Ambrent, a provider of residential broadband solutions, and General Manager of the Communications Software Group at Cisco Systems. Prior to joining Cisco systems, David was the founding Vice President of Marketing at Collabra Software.

David holds a BA from Tufts University, and an MBA from Stanford University.

Mike Swoboda
Vice President, Global Accounts
Mike Swoboda is Vice president, Global Accounts for Njini and co-founder of the company. In this expanded role, Mike is responsible for the overall management of the Global Accounts at Njini. Under Mike’s leadership, the Global Accounts team assist in the delivery of a consistent, integrated and responsive customer experience through a unified sales and services organization worldwide.

Prior to co-founding Njini, Mike was Vice President of Global Sales at RiverSoft overseeing all of RiverSoft’s business strategy and technology alliances in Asia Pacific, EMEA and North America.

Previously, Mike has held several Sales Management positions in the technology industry, including Sun Microsystems, before moving to Tivoli in 1995 as a member of the Sales start-up team. During his 6 years at Tivoli, he held numerous leadership roles including executive management responsibility for Sales, and Marketing.

Charles Manly
Vice President, Engineering
In this role, Charles brings Njini his experience in managing world class engineering teams and a successful career developing robust software solutions. In this capacity Charles will be managing our experienced development team through all phases of product design, rollout and support. Charles has 20 years experience in software development, working in varied roles from software engineer and progressing rapidly to team leader and technical design lead.

Prior to Njini, Charles was at Kalido where he was VP Engineering and Support, building and managing the team that put together the Kalido DIW and MDM Data Management packages.

In earlier positions he has  managed large teams of people developing various software products and different development technologies and methodologies. In the early 90's he lead a team that developed a client/server ERP system.

For the last 10 years Charles has been involved in building small, VC backed, software companies.

Charles holds a BSc in Computer Science from Brunel University.

Phil Maynard
Director of Product Management
Phil Maynard brings 18 years of experience in the storage industry to his position as Njini’s Director of Product Management. Phil is responsible for planning and product strategy for the Njini IAM software, and oversees new product introductions.

Phil is widely recognized as a specialist in product marketing, product and services development, and business development. Previously, Phil was working as a principal consultant at ITM Consulting, a US based consultancy that provides storage technology start-ups with a variety of business development services.

Prior to ITM Consulting, Phil was VP of Product Management and Services Development for EMEA at Glasshouse Technologies where he was responsible for the development of services and product management.

Phil has also served in senior executive positions at Datacore Software, Sagitta Performance Systems and Xyratex.
